Social swimmer (For those swimmers interested in Exhibition only, practice & social events)
In consideration of the Hobcaw Yacht Club (HYC) consenting to allow the children named here in to participate in the swim team activities, the undersigned hereby releases and discharges the HYC, its members, families, the swim team board, and all persons for whom the HYC may legally be responsible, from all actions, rights, causes of actions, claims, and any demands whatsoever that now exist or may hereafter accrue from injuries, including unknown and unanticipated, and all consequences flowing there from, as a result of an accident, casualty or event which was sustained by any participation in the swim team program.
I certify that I am a member of Hobcaw Yacht Club in good standing with dues up to date. I understand that each family is responsible for their required volunteer shifts as outlined in the handbook. Volunteers that do not show up for their scheduled assignment will be charged a fee of $100/missed shift. Missed Shift Fees must be paid before the next swim meet in order for your family's children to swim. Please note that coaches can not guarantee that your child will swim for points if you are not planning to travel to away swim meets. No refunds will be issued after June 2, 2016.
